Love Your Tan?

A lot of us love to have a suntan but we also know that the sun damage alters the look and feel of the skin and causes early ageing.

Sun damage is caused by exposure to damaging ultraviolet (UV) rays, which is an undetectable from of radiation from the sun.  There are two types of UV rays – UVA and UVB.  UVA rays penetrate deep into the skin and are the major source of early ageing and skin cancer. UVB rays primarily access the surface of the skin and are the key source of sunburns.

So take care of your skin. When exposed to sunlight use a high factor SPF to prevent those damaging rays causing premature ageing of you skin.  Check your moisturiser includes an SPF and use whatever the weather.  With sun damage prevention is better than cure.
